A home, not a room
Two bedrooms, a kitchen you can cook a normal Tuesday dinner in, a washing machine, and a living room where the family is not sitting on one bed.
For families and professionals relocating
Nothing to set up, nothing to transfer, nothing to cancel when you leave. You pay one amount a month, and that is the amount.
Why a base beats a hotel
Every family that moves to the Lisbon coast learns the same thing in the first fortnight: the neighbourhood you liked online is not the one you end up wanting.
Two bedrooms, a kitchen you can cook a normal Tuesday dinner in, a washing machine, and a living room where the family is not sitting on one bed.
Everything here starts with an address: the NIF, the bank, the health centre, the school registration. Having a fixed one for a few months unblocks the whole queue.
The international schools of Carcavelos, Cascais and Sintra are all within half an hour. Visit them from here, then choose where to live.
No year-long lease signed in a panic. Stay one month, stay four, tell us as you go.
Direct train from four hundred metres away to Cais do Sodré, so one of you can start work before the family is settled.
Tamariz is an eighteen minute walk, the seafront promenade runs to Cascais, and the street outside is residential and calm.
Rate and terms
The rate is monthly and includes furniture, water, power and internet. Nothing goes into your name, nothing needs cancelling when you move on.
One month deposit by bank transfer or Revolut, returned at the end. A written agreement in English, and an invoice if a company is covering the relocation.
Tell us roughly how long you think you need. Nobody gets that right first time, and the terms are built to let you change your mind.
Rates vary by season and by length of stay. Longer commitments get a better price.
Where you would actually be
The apartment
Seventy-four square metres on a quiet square, four hundred metres from the train and eighteen minutes on foot from Tamariz beach.
Questions
From one month to as long as you need. Most relocating families take two or three months and extend once, which is the point of doing it this way.
You will have a fixed address and a written agreement, which is what those processes ask for. The specific requirements differ between a bank, the tax office and each school, so check what each one needs, but arriving with an address rather than a hotel booking removes most of the friction.
Two bedrooms, one queen and one with two single beds, one bathroom with a bath, a lift, and a quiet residential square outside. Four people live here comfortably.
Fully furnished, with everything down to the kitchen equipment and bed linen. Water, power and fibre internet are included in the monthly rate.
Yes. Fibre internet that holds video calls, a second bedroom that becomes an office, and thirty minutes by train to central Lisbon when you need to be there in person.
Yes. We issue invoices and can put the terms in writing in English in advance, which is usually what a corporate relocation budget needs.
Tell us and we work it out. The whole reason this exists is that you cannot know in advance.
We work with relocation companies and employers directly: written terms in English, invoices to the company, dates held while a candidate decides, and a straight answer on availability the same day. One email starts it.
We answer in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French.
What guests say
“Exceptionally clean and exactly as described. Very close to both Cascais town centre and King's College. The apartment felt like a well-renovated hotel suite.”
“The apartment was even better than the photos — spacious bedrooms, beautifully finished, everything felt new. The hosts set up a baby cot with linens and even brought over two brand new fans.”
