A room that closes
The second bedroom becomes an office with a door. If there are two of you working, one takes the living room and neither of you is on mute in a corridor.
For people who work from wherever they sleep
Nothing to set up, nothing to transfer, nothing to cancel when you leave. You pay one amount a month, and that is the amount.
What actually matters when you work from a rental
Everyone photographs the view. Nobody photographs the upload speed, the chair, or the noise at nine in the morning.

Fibre broadband that carries video calls all day. Ask us for a speed test before you book and we will run one.
Not a tourist strip, not a nightlife block. A square in Monte Estoril where the loudest thing at nine in the morning is the bakery.
Direct train from four hundred metres away, about thirty minutes to Cais do Sodré, for the meeting, the conference or the night out you will not want to drive home from.
Tamariz is eighteen minutes on foot, the promenade to Cascais is flat and runs by the water. That is your lunch break and your reset.
One month minimum, extend as you go. Long stays get a better rate, and you do not lose the flat every three weeks.
Rate and terms
The rate is monthly and includes furniture, water, power and fibre internet. One deposit, one payment a month, nothing set up in your name.
Pay by bank transfer or Revolut. Written terms in English, and an invoice if you expense the stay or run it through your own company.
The best months for this are October to May, when the coast is quiet, the light is still good and the nightly rate would be wasted on empty weekdays anyway.
Low season and longer stays get a better rate. Ask for a quote with your dates.
The practical stuff
The apartment
Seventy-four square metres on a quiet square, four hundred metres from the train and eighteen minutes on foot from Tamariz beach.
Questions
Fibre broadband, used daily for video calls. Rather than quote a number that changes, ask us and we will run a speed test on the day you ask and send you the screenshot.
There is a work setup in the second bedroom and space in the living room for a second person. If you need a specific chair or a monitor, say so before you arrive and we will sort it out.
Yes, and that is what the two bedrooms are for. One closes the door for calls, the other takes the living room.
One month minimum, and you can extend month by month as long as the dates are free. Tell us early if you think you will stay and we will hold them.
No. It is a residential square in Monte Estoril, away from the bars of central Cascais, and out of high season it is very quiet.
No, and between October and May you will not miss it. Heating is there for the winter. July and August are hot, which is why this works best out of season.
Yes, issued by the company that runs the apartment, which is what you need if you expense it or run it through your own business.
Surf at Guincho and Carcavelos, run the Paredão, cycle into the Sintra hills, and Lisbon half an hour away when you want a city.
Long stays get a materially better rate than the monthly price above, because one reliable guest for a season is worth more than a calendar full of weekends. Tell us the window and we will quote it properly.
We answer in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French.
